Hi Ladies!
I wish there was a 'Like' button on Blogger so I could 'Like' your fabulous comments! I so appreciate them and they make my day! You are all so sweet!!
I hope you are enjoying your week. We have endured so much rain lately so I am enjoying the glorious sunshine we have outside today! It was fun to have some summery colors to match the weather today.
Two yellows made this challenge a bit hard, but here's what I came up with this week. First the colors:
Then, here is my card:
I used the So Saffron as the background piece. These papers are from Imaginisce and I just thought they were perfect for this color palette! I think this card just screams party! I hand cut the red and brown scalloped border.
Supplies: Cardstock: Bazill and other; Patterned Papers: Imaginisce; Embossing: Cuttlebug and Cuttlebug Embossing Folder; Punches: Stampin Up! and Fiskars; Ric Rac: Bazzill.
As always, leave your comments below! I love to read what you have to say!!! Have a wonderful day!

Colour Q Courtier Again!
I am super excited that my card from last week was chosen as a courtier. I knew I wouldn't win when I saw Marlene's card It is gorgeous and the moment I saw it, I knew it would win. Nice work Marlene! But I am thrilled to be among the court in a week where competition was fierce!
Thanks ColourQ team for voting for my card! I can't wait to see what I can come up with this week.

Coulour Q Challenge #85
Hello again! I hope you are all having a great week! :)
Here are the colors for this weeks ColourQ challenge #85
When I sat down and looked at these colors, I honestly thought I would give up this week and not make a card. I honestly didn't know how I could make a card with so many neutrals! I didn't have Peach Parfait and no paper I had even remotely matched.
I then dug deep into my stash to see what else I had that could match. And I was pleasantly surprised at what I was able to find! And it was amazing how it just all came together. So, I am excited to present my card for this week's challenge:
Here is the inside:
Being the end of the school year, I like to give my kids teachers a little gift and a nice card to thank them for all their hard work during the year. So, this is the card they will be receiving. One of my boys has 3 teachers, so I have to end up making a lot of cards.
I am really excited how this card turned out! I was finally able to incorporate patterned paper into a Colour Q challenge! I also sewed with my sewing machine for this challenge.
Supplies: Cardstock & Patterned Paper: DCWV; Ink: Stampin Up!, Stamps: Stampin Up!, Studio G; Wavy Paper Strip: Crate Paper; Chipboard: DCWV; Clip: Making Memories; Rick Rack: American Crafts; Flowers: Prima and American Crafts; Embroidery Floss: DMC; Other: thread, buttons
Thanks for looking at my card! I look forward to your comments! Have a wonderful day!!!

Colour Q Challenge #84
Hallelujah!
Blogger is working again. I wanted to post my card yesterday and couldn't. I have NOT been patiently waiting for Blogger to work again. But it is up now and I am very happy! :) I am excited to show you my card!
Once again, here I am with my ColourQ card for Challenge #84
Here is the color palette:
These colors screamed ‘Rock Star’ to me, so that is what I ran with this week.
I LOVE stars and I was excited that I could implement them in my card this week.
I really did use the Daffodil Delight! Just have to look closely to see it. (Matting the Old Olive embossed star paper).
Cardstock: Stampin Up!, DCWV, other; Stamps: Inkadinkadoo, Kelly Panacci for SandyLion, Autumn Leaves; Punches: Stampin Up!, Fiskars, EK Success; Ink: Stampin Up!; Cuttlebug and Embossing Folders:Provo Craft, Embossing Powder: American Crafts; Paper Distresser: Making Memories; Adhesives: Glue Dots and Pop Dots.

I have to thank my dear friend Andrea for letting me borrow a stamp pad. This card wouldn’t have worked without it! Thanks again so much!!
I had my card all made and then decided that it needed the ‘grunge factor’. So I distressed it, inked the edges of the card and then cut some ‘holes’ in the background paper to mimic those found in distressed jeans. I also wadded up the star strip to give that the weathered look.
I really did use the Daffodil Delight! Just have to look closely to see it. (Matting the Old Olive embossed star paper).
I think this is a fun card. Let me know what you think! Your comments make my day!!
I also wanted to mention that I never look at the samples or others uploaded work for that
challenge until my card is done. That way, I know my creation is my own. But then I LOVE seeing what everyone else makes! Everyone is so creative!

Colour Q Challenge #83
It has been an interesting week. I was feeling very uninspired, to say the least. We had a loved one die this week and it has thrown us all for a loop. But, I really needed a thank you card for my Mother-in-Law for helping me last week when my neck was having spasms. So I had to fight through the inspiration thing and move along. Here are the colors for this weeks ColourQ Challenge :
These are fun, happy colors. I knew I needed a card to match. And here is the card I made:
From the photo it's a bit hard to tell, but I embossed the white paper with large dots.
I think that I truly may have reached insanity! For this card, I painstakingly glued on the centers to those tiny flowers. I kept questioning my saneness as I glued each one on. But it looks cute!
I used cardstock from DCWV and unknown, Cricut with Walk in My Garden and Accent Essentials cartridges, Cuttlebug and folder, font Nauvoo and Photoshop to create the sentiment and inside. I also used an EK Success circle punch, Stampin Up! 1 3/8" punch and a Fiskars punch.
I decorated the inside a little too this week:
I hope you like it! Have a wonderful day!
