Stitch Club Gift
Every year in December, my stitch club makes a stitched something and we exchange at the Christmas party. This is my gift this year. I like how it turned out! It was fun to make the frame. I painted it and modge podged the scrapbook cardstock to it, tied the ribbons on and added some cardstock flowers on that I cut from my Cricut. I hope whomever receives it is as happy with it as I am!

ColourQ Challenge #111
Hello again! I am really excited about this week's creation for the ColourQ #111 Challenge!
The colors are super fab this week! Perfect for fall. Here the are:

And another look:
I created most of this in Photoshop. Apart from the patterned paper (which I recolored) I created everything from scratch! I created the leaf with the custom shape tool and then made it a clipping mask on the patterned paper to make it patterned. I printed it and cut it out and pop dotted it on the flourish.
The 'So much to be' and 'for' are in Crumb Cake. Crumb Cake also appears on the } on the bottom. Just wanted to clarify that in case it was hard to see! ;)
Today I think I'll write that I am thankful for inspiration!
Thanks for looking at my blog! I am so glad you do!! I love reading your comments too!
Have a creative day!

I was blessed with inspiration this week! LOVE that! I wanted to make a list where I could record things I am thankful for each day of the month of November. So as I was thinking of that, I thought of Josh Groban's song 'Thankful' that I just LOVE, and I had the words to use for the top of the list. Truly, if you haven't heard Josh's 'Thankful' I urge you to check it out! It is one of my all time favorite songs. It is on his Christmas album.
So, here is my creation:

ColourQ Challenge #110
Hello!! I hope you are all having a marvelous November. I am for sure!! There is a gorgeous full moon out there tonight. Maybe you can create by the light of it tonight too!
Here are the colors for ColourQ this week:
My inspiration this week came from these adorable pumpkins made from tree stumps. I mean seriously! How cute are these!!??!!
I had never heard of the Dusty Durango color before. And I am going to be honest when I say the Pool Party was the killer for me this week. But I think I was able to make it work nicely. (At least I hope so!) So without any more chit chat, here is my card:

ColourQ Challenge #109
Hello! OK, honestly, I looked at the colors this week and thought, "No way am I going to make a card this week. I cannot think of how those would pull together in a card!" But I gave it a little thought and came up with not only one card, but two.
Here is the (initially scary) color pallette:
I needed to make a male birthday card, so I was pleased that these colors would work well for that. So I used my Cricut and a super cute stamp set I just picked up last week from Studio G and made this cupcake card:
We had a beautiful Halloween with highs in the 60's. But yesterday we got snow! This is my front lawn yesterday:
Hooray! I LOVE snow!! :) SO, I decided as I was making the cupcake card, that these colors would make a GREAT snowman card! I used the Telescoping Card tutorial at SplitCoast Stampers and here is my snowman:
Then he unfolds to this:
I had fun making him!!
After some contemplation, I decided to enter the snowman card in ColourQ, if I can only choose one.
Thanks for checking out my blog!! I hope you have a creative day! And don't forget to leave your comments! :)
