ColourQ Challenge #141

I hope you have been having a good week!  I *love* the colors this week at the ColourQ!

With Father's Day this Sunday, these are obviously great colors.  But I took a different direction this time and made a birthday card for my son who will be celebrating next week.  So here is his card:

Right now he is having a Mighty Machines kick and can't get enough of those. (Thanks, Netflix!) So I went with the dump truck for his birthday card.

I used my brand new Chevron embossing folder from Stampin' Up! that I just picked up minutes before I used. :)  I made the saying in Adobe Photoshop Elements with one of my *fav* fonts, tweed.  (If you don't have this, it is a must get!)  These colors lent themselves so well to this card. 

I really think my son will love this!  What do you think?

ColourQ Challenge #140

Hello again!  This week the colors at the ColourQ make me SO happy!  I think they are super spectacular together!  Here they are:

So of course, I had to make a card with these fab colors!  I actually made two, but am only posting one. 

I have lots of male birthday's this month and these colors were perfect for a male birthday card. :) I cut the pennants out by hand.
