Stampin Up! Party

I mentioned in my last post that I hosted a SU party on Tuesday.  It was LOTS of fun and I have super incredible supportive friends!  I LOVE them!

I wanted to show you the favors I made:

They were cones that I filled with chocolate and cute crimped paper 'filler' that had Valentine's Day stuff written on it.

This is how I stored them.  I turned a small crate unside-down and put them in the holes.  It worked great!
I made cupcakes and chips and dip for the party.  For the cupcakes, I made the flag toothpicks.  I stamped a cupcake and thank you on half of a sticky label and wrapped part of it around the toothpick.  This is a Wilton cupcake stand.  Plain, but I like that it holds 24 cupcakes.  It worked great!!

It was a lot of planning and getting ready, but it was really great!  I was so happy that so many of my friends were willing to come.  :)  Thanks for looking.  Have a creative day!

ColourQ Challenge #121

It has been a crazy week!  I hosted a Stampin Up party on Tuesday.  It was super successful, but I have been running like a crazy lady all week getting ready for the party and then collecting orders.

Nevertheless, I wanted to participate in this week's ColourQ. The colors are so great this week!

I needed a male birthday card for a family birthday tonight.  I barely got it done in time.  I don't like being so under the wire!  But here it is:

I thought this turned out really fun!  As always, I love to know what you think :)  Have a creative day!

ColourQ Challenge #120

Hi again!  I need to start this post off by saying how kind you all are!  I appreciate all the *wonderful* comments you leave on this blog for me!  It truly is fantastic!  Thanks!!

I was courtier last week with my love card!  See last weeks post.  Thanks for the acknowledgement!

I did some Googling over the weekend and got major inspiration!  There are some seriously talented people out there!  I now am in the middle of about 5 different projects!  Actually, I completed one.  I saw a tutorial on how to make these *fantastical* felt flowers!  I am just in love with them.  I made the flower and this pillow for it to go on.  It was really simple, but I am in love with the results!!

That is my inspiration for my card this week.
Here are the CQC colors for this week:

And here is my card:

I made the flowers out of felt!  It was so much fun!

I know this seems like a simple card.  I tried it another way and the background was just too much.  I wanted to the flowers to stand out on their own, so I went with simplicity this time.  I hand-stiched the border:

As always, I'd love to know what you think!  Have a creative day!!

ColourQ Challenge #119

Time again for another CQC!  These are the colors:

I was excited about these colors!  I have been wanting to make Valentine's and I thought these colors lent themselves well to that.  So here is my card:

I hope you like it!  I thought it turned out really fun.  I like the embellishments on this card!  I used American Crafts Metal Letters for the LVE.  They are really cool.  And I just LOVE (no pun intended!) the XOXO clothespin from Pebbles, Inc.  Too cute.  I was SO happy that it matched so perfectely. :)  I hope you have a creative day!  Please leave me a comment too. :)
